About Me

About Me

Sarah Kaufman (they/them) is a nonbinary, autistic musical theatre writer and performer based in NYC. Their work has gone up at CAP21, the Manhattan School of Music, the York Theatre’s NEO Program, the New York Musical Festival’s Head and Heart concert, among others. They are beginning the BMI Musical Theatre Writers Workshop this fall as a lyricist. Recent performing credits include Agnes in EPIC Player's production of She Kills Monsters, Caddy in Jacob Gluckman's musical My World, and Mrs. Cratchit/Mx. Fezziwig in The Christmas Carol: A Queer Fantasia. Other credits include Rose in Dogfight and Nadia in Bare, both at Sheridan College with Broadway Dreams. Sarah also writes fantasy novels.
